The ETD includes a durable elastic tourniquet, a non-adherent sterile dressing, a locking device, and a Quick-Grip Roll Control that prevents loosening and provides rapid, effective control of severe bleeding during times of stress.

It can also be used as an arm sling or to attach a splint.
