Positioning the casualty in the supine position is the most appropriate and comfortable position for the patient/injured, although it may not be the best position. However, for cases where the casualty requires better care in a 45-degree or 90-degree reclining position, the Talon® Series Back Rest from North American Rescue® can provide the solution for these patients. This stretcher accessory attaches to the 1.5-inch poles of the leading Talon® stretcher system and is designed for use with the Raven® Model 90C and Medevac Litter stretchers.

The backrest cover is made from a composite material of Nomex, which has flame-retardant and heat-absorbing properties, and Kevlar, which provides scratch resistance and a long lifespan. It can also be washed without losing its original performance.
