Ops Core Counterweight Kit balances and balances the helmet for comfort and reduced neck strain from frontal attachment.

• The weight can be adjusted with 5 pieces of 70 gram weights and 5 elastic cloth bags, total weight 385 grams.

• Versatile stretch fabric pouch that expands to hold two weights at once, or weights and a spare battery (all sizes).

• The rear of the helmet is mounted using the original bolt holes with the included anchor and long screws, along with a Velcro plate on the back to help secure the weight housing.

• A slot for inserting a Chemlight light tube and a Velcro strip for attaching a reflective strip for identification in low-light conditions.

• Rugged construction that is compatible with Sentry and FAST helmets.

A weighting kit is included if you use a helmet with accessories like night vision goggles.

The Ops Core Counterweight System is designed to compensate for the weight of the head on the back when we install accessories with the helmet such as a night vision goggle (NVG).

The Counterweight system helps maintain the helmet's weight balance in the center to compensate for the weight of accessories that are pulled towards the front of the helmet, reducing user fatigue while wearing the equipment for long periods of time.

The Counterweight Set consists of a removable counterweight that can be adjusted in increments of 70 grams (per piece), with a total of 5 adjustable pieces.
According to the weight of the equipment used, this set will have a total weight of 385 grams if we use the complete weight set.

Inside the Counterweight Set there are 5 separate compartments for optional weights or to convert into a spare battery compartment for a flashlight or night vision device (AAA/AA batteries).
Or it can be used to store 123A batteries as well.

The Counterweight Kit's mounting system offers a choice of Velcro attachments or a locking pin, which are positioned directly into the accessory holes on the back of the Ops Core helmet rail to suit the user's specific needs.
