Product Description
Clotting Solution is a clot-stimulating agent designed to be mixed with simulated blood to create realistic blood clots. It can be used to simulate injuries, practice management and control of bleeding in patients with severe wounds, practice skills in dealing with severe wounds, or for medical and surgical training.
Use a mixing ratio of 5:1 to simulate a highly coagulated, viscous blood clot, or a ratio of 10:1 to simulate an incompletely coagulated blood clot with fluid mixed in. The coagulation reaction occurs immediately, resulting in a highly realistic blood clot for use with a training dummy or a simulated wound.
It can also be used to stimulate blood clotting to practice hemostatic skills or to apply gauze to wounds in a simulation of a real-world situation. The TrueClot - Clotting Solution hemostatic training kit is safe and non-toxic and can be easily cleaned with soap and water.
